Contribution——Lion's Roar Online Auction

Donation

Introduction

Dana, Sila and Bhavana, the three central practices that are described by Buddha , or generosity, morality, and meditation.
In regard to Dana, we are pathing our way to share generosity. The practice of generosity in Buddhism is largely entwined with the mind.Far more important than the gift being given is the intention and state of mind when giving.
In 2022, we step our way on donation. With a grateful heart, we were invited to join the 16th Online Auction which is held by Lion's Roar annually. For a better contribution, our team has selected 3 typical Buddhism symbols to support the auction.

A statue of Green Tara

Bodhisattva Tara (तारा) is a religious figure, the incarnation of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Bodhisattva Tara is green all over, the color of the division of Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing life and hope.
Bodhisattva Tara is known for saving people from disasters. In Tibet, the responsibility of saving the eight difficulties is unique to Bodhisattva Tara, so she is also called the rescue of the eight difficulties. When reciting the Bodhisattva Tara mantra, you must concentrate and chant with a sincere heart, and you should be dressed neatly in order to achieve a better healing effect.

Avalokitesevara incense burner

In Buddhist ritual and spiritual practice, incense burning is commonly used to honor the Triratna, or the Triple Gem of Buddhism, which are “the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha”. In fact, proclaiming devotion to these three things is one major step to becoming a Buddhist. From a spiritual perspective, the incense burning resulting in fragrant smoke represents burning away negative qualities within oneself in order to reveal the pure self within.
